FOOTBALL IS BACK!

The Watchdog is the Ohio Valley’s premier radio station for live coverage of high school sports and is the official radio partner of the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference. You can tune into High School Football games Friday Nights and Saturdays throughout the High School Football Season on FM 98.1/ AM 1600 & FM 97.7/ AM 1370.

The Watchdog’s Football Fridays kick off on August 28th, 2020. Below is your Football Friday schedule:

  • The Quaker Steak and Lube Friday Walk Thru 3 PM-5 PM
  • WTRF News 5 PM-6 PM
  • Tony Cardi Sportsline 6 PM-7 PM
  • High School Football Game 7 PM-9:30 PM
  • 5th Quarter Score Board 9:30 PM-10:30 PM
  •  Metro News Gamenight 10:30 PM-12:00 PM.

Our High School football coverage is broadcast by Jerry Ames, Ryan Storm, Mark Hinerman, and Ross Johnston, and working hard behind the scenes is Brad Leonard, Garret Gilbert, and Wade Auberbright.  This season we will be broadcasting 23 high school football games: 8 Wheeling Central games, 9 John Marshall games, and 8 OVAC games.
